About the Bursary Application
At Medics.Academy, we are committed to expanding equitable access to healthcare education. We believe in empowering health professionals across the globe, especially those from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), by supporting their learning and professional development. To confirm your eligibility, please refer to the LMIC classification webpage and scroll down to view the complete list of countries.
This bursary application is designed to provide partial financial support for selected applicants enrolling in:
- Intermediate Level One Programme (IL1)
- Postgraduate Programme in Innovative Leadership, Education and Technology (InLET)
- Artificial Intelligence and Innovative Technologies in Digital Health Programme
Please note that this is a partial bursary and will not cover travel or accommodation. The application process is intended to be robust, ensuring that applicants are committed, well-aligned with the programme’s objectives, and ready to make the most of the opportunity.
All components of the application, including the application form and any supporting documents, must be submitted in English. If any supporting documents were originally issued in a language other than English, an official certified translation must be provided. Please note that applications submitted in languages other than English will not be considered.
The bursary selection process involves self-assessment and evidence-based scoring. Each application will be reviewed by the Medics.Academy internal academic team and tutors, following a structured and fair assessment framework.
Please be aware that the bursary is awarded on a merit-based basis. Not all applicants will receive funding, and submitting an application does not guarantee the award of a bursary.
A reimbursable application fee of £10 will apply. The fee will be refunded only to applicants who complete the application process but are not awarded the bursary.
