About the Course

In the United Kingdom, 70% of women who have a vaginal birth suffer perineal trauma with 60-70% requiring suturing. It is essential that midwives and doctors are up to date in its evidence-based management to improve wound healing and reduce the risk of long-term complications. In this course, Dr. Dan Selo-Ojeme examines perineal repair in detail, taking the viewer step by step from anatomy through suturing technique to aftercare, culminating in a methodology to achieve a successful repair. This course is an absolute must for midwifery students, midwives, and clinicians.
